Responsibilities

The Town Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the municipal organization and serves as the duly-appointed Chief Executive and Administrative Officer.

The Manager's Office is comprised of:

• Terri Oswin, Municipal Clerk/Deputy Town Manager/Deputy Registrar
• Kathryn E. Alcock, Administrative Assistant to the Town Manager
• Jennifer A. Dodd, Human Resources Director

If you have questions or comments on how to improve the Town of Newton, the Manager's Office is the proper place to address your concerns. The Town Manager has an open-door policy and looks forward to meeting many of you as he works, travels, and shops throughout the Town. Enhanced customer service and open communication are the hallmarks of a well-run organization, and they are the priorities not only for employees of the Manager's Office, but for all of the employees and volunteers in our organization.
