The St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held tomorrow beginning at 11:30am on Spring Street.
Our next Town Council meeting will be Monday at 7:00pm.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Lorraine's office has prepared the minutes from the March 10th, Special, Regular and Executive meetings for consideration and approval.
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
This is for those that wish to address the Town Council but do not plan on staying for the whole meeting. There is a note to the public on the agenda to please keep their comments to a maximum of 5 minutes. This allows ample time for all whom wish to speak and keeps the meeting moving forward. The public can speak on any matter.
COUNCIL & MANAGER REPORTS
Project Self Sufficiency will make a brief presentation on their new project with the Halsted Middle School students called Project Launch.
There is one ordinance for public hearing:
Ordinance 2014-4 is a fully funded water and sewer capital improvement ordinance for certain sewer treatment plant modifications.
There are two ordinances for introduction:
Ordinance 2014-5 is a bond ordinance that will authorize the issuance of $300,000 in bonds or notes for the construction of the 20” HDPE water transmission line across Fox Hollow Lake.
Ordinance 2014-6 is a bond ordinance for various capital improvements.
Resolution #49-2014* will approve 2013 appropriation reserve transfers.
Resolution #50-2014* will approve a 2013 appropriation reserve to be lapsed into a trust reserve account.
Resolution #51-2014* will authorize executing an agreement to terminate the lease of Nextel concerning their equipment on the water tower site.
Resolution #52-2014* will authorize the Town to enter into an agreement with Sussex County Municipal Utilities Authority to provide us with a Certified Recycling Professional.
Resolution #53-2014* will authorize credits due water and sewer utility accounts.
Resolution #54-2014* will authorize an amendment to the capital budget for 2014.
Resolution #55-214* will authorize a refund for a zoning permit and waiver of site plan application fee.
Resolution #56-2014* will award the contract for sludge and chemical waste trucking to Accurate Waste Removal Services, Inc.
Resolution #57-2014* will award the contract for purchasing chemicals to several different vendors.
Resolution #58-2014* will authorize the refund tax monies due to a State Tax Court judgment.
Resolution #59-2014* will approve bills and vouchers for payment.
There is one application for consideration:
- An application for a special permit for a social affair from Karen Ann Quinlan Memorial Foundation to be held on April 6, 2014 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Krave.

THE WEEK IN REVIEW
Morris Lake was 12 inches below the top of the spillway on 3.17.14.
The GNCC networking event at O’Reilly’s was very well attended.
Councilwoman Diglio and I attended the Family Partners of Morris and Sussex Counties tour/luncheon with Congressman Scott Garrett on Wednesday.
Routine business was discussed at the health insurance fund meeting in Randolph.
