APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Lorraine's office has prepared the minutes from the April 14th Regular meeting for consideration and approval.

This is for those that wish to address the Town Council but do not plan on staying for the whole meeting. There is a note to the public on the agenda to please keep their comments to a maximum of 5 minutes. This allows ample time for all whom wish to speak and keeps the meeting moving forward. The public can speak on any matter.
COUNCIL & MANAGER REPORTS
There is one ordinance for public hearing:
Ordinance 2014-7 will amend Ordinance 2008-6 to increase the costs for certain items.
There are two ordinances for introduction:
Ordinance 2014-9 will amend Chapter 204 and Chapter 320 of the Code to revise and establish certain definitions.
Ordinance 2014-10 will amend Section 166-20 of the Code regarding the expiration of Planning Board approvals.
Just a friendly reminder: the hearing for Ordinance 2014-8 for the SID will be May 28th.
Resolution #75-2014* is a resolution to support the continued tax-exemption for municipal bonds.
Resolution #76-2014* will authorize the disposal of certain property that is no longer needed for public use.
Resolution #77-2014* will award the contract for the Proposed Improvements to Morris Lake – Phase I to WaterWare Corporation.
Resolution #78-2014* will approve bills and vouchers for payment.
Resolution #79-2014* will recognize May 4-10, 2014 as Municipal Clerks’ Week, and salutes all municipal clerks in New Jersey.
Resolution #80-2014* will authorize executing a modified Developer’s Agreement with Martorana Enterprises, LLC (based on UAB recommendations that Council approved last meeting).
Resolution #81-2014* will authorize an escrow agreement with Jade Land Co., LLC for the Hicks Avenue Redevelopment project.
There are three applications for your consideration:
1. A Junior Firefighter application from Andrew Ghaleb, 24 Ryerson Avenue.
2. A Junior Firefighter application from Ryan D. Razzano, 2 Harrison Street.
3. A Junior Firefighter application from Robert M. Caton, 6 Dogwood Drive.

THE WEEK IN REVIEW
Morris Lake was 2 ½ inches above the top of the spillway on 4.21.14.
The mechanical bar screen has been completed at the WWTP.
The May 12th Council meeting has been cancelled.
We conducted our annual audit review with Tom Ferry on Friday – all is good.
The second press release for Neighbors Helping Neighbors IV went out this week. A reminder the event will occur on Saturday, May 3rd. We will meet here at Town Hall at 8:30am. The volunteer effort runs from 9:00am – Noon and pizza will be served at Memory Park following same. Non-union full-time employees who participate will receive compensatory time – non-union part-time staff will be paid for their efforts. Let Terri know.

We had several visitors on Thursday for “Taking Your Sons and Daughters to Work Day” – my thanks to all staff for their courtesies.
Summer hours will commence Tuesday, May 27th and run through Friday, August 29th. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 8:30am-4:30pm; Thursday 8:30am-6:30pm; Friday 8:30am-1:30pm.
