Morris Lake was 27 inches below the top of the spillway on October 27th.
Budget submittals are due by end of business today. Departments that fail to submit same on time will see their budgets handled by the Manager’s Office.
The PowerPoint has been finalized for the November 24th SID presentation. The presentation can be viewed starting today on our website at newtontownhall.com/SID. A postcard with the meeting information has been mailed to all commercial property owners.
Debi, Dave Simmons & Jack Smalley met on site with representatives from NJDEP Water Allocation regarding the Town’s water allocation request. NJDEP toured both Morris Lake and the Pine Swamp Diversion. The allocation permit for increased water allocation is still under review at this point.
The mayor and I joined our engineering team to commence the lighting study of the downtown parking areas. The results are rather interesting. More to be done.
Open enrollment for health insurance is coming up in November.
RPM will be at the November Planning Board meeting for final site plan approval.
