Municipal Offices will close at 3:00pm on Wednesday, November 26th. Offices will be closed for Thanksgiving (27th) and the Day After Thanksgiving (28th).

Morris Lake was 30 inches below the top of the spillway on 11.10.14.
The auction date is set for the Fire Patrol building at 7 Stuart Street and 27 Orchard Street for December 11th at 11:00am.

The diving crew was back at Glen Lake completing the work on the blow off valve.
The new Polycom phone system was installed (JIT) in the Council Chambers. Any questions on its utilization, please see Lorraine.
Nixle (notification system for emergency and non-emergency items) is almost ready for deployment on the Town website. Please see an email distributed by OEM for instructions on how to sign-up. All town employees are expected to sign-up. Be advised - any municipal office closings will be distributed via Nixle and not via a telephone chain.
The bids are out for the WWTP roof replacement. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for November 25th at 9:00am.
All employees are expected to attend the complimentary luncheon from Statewide Insurance on Tuesday, November 25th at Noon for recognition of our safety efforts – Firehouse 1, Mill Street. As Town Manager and Chairman of the Fund, I congratulate all of you on your hard work. Department awards and individual awards will be given.
The 2nd draft of the McGuire’s Area Redevelopment Plan will be distributed to the Redevelopment Team for review and comment.
A reminder that budget hearings are coming up with department heads on December 3rd.
Manager’s evaluations will be conducted on December 16th and 17th. The 18th is no longer available due to my Statewide Insurance Fund commitments.
