EXECUTIVE SESSION – Newton Armory.

THE WEEK IN REVIEW
Morris Lake was 20 inches below the top of the spillway on February 16th.

Our condolences to Terri on the passing of her brother Donald.

We have posted the job ad for HR Director on the town website, NJSLOM website, as well as on the Morris and Sussex websites for SHRM. We wish Tracy well in her new endeavors!

The Planning Board approved the McGuire Redevelopment Plan and the Plan Amendment for Merriam Gateway. Excellent progress on these two important projects!

I want to thank all department heads and staff for their assistance with the budget this year and the Council for their time during the budget hearings.

The Governor will give his budget address next week – let’s see if there are any changes to state aid…don’t hold your breath…

Have a great weekend! Stay safe and warm! Let’s Go Rangers!

Yours for a Better Newton,
