The “How to Open a Business in Newton” revised brochure is completed and at the printer.
The Spring Street/Trinity Street projects have commenced! Spring Street became one-way on July 28th with new curbing and sidewalk work being performed by Tony’s Concrete. Junction boxes are being placed on Moran Street and foundations for the new traffic light poles are being installed on Trinity Street. We will keep you posted via email as conditions warrant.
The DPW crew replaced a faulty hydrant on Liberty Street on Thursday.
Changes have been made to the updated version of newtonnjcool.com and AzulCore is rocking along with our Facebook and Twitter accounts! Xavier will be coming to our August 24th Council meeting with a demo on same.
A flyer was sent out on the unique opportunity to SKYPE with Dr. Lori Shemek, author of the “How to Fight FATflammation” book. Sessions will be held with Dr. Shemek on August 20th at 10am and 2pm – participants receive a free copy of her book and seating is extremely limited. Contact Terri Oswin if you are interested.
The new draft handbook is completed – now we are working on the appendices. I anticipate a version ready for August or September.
The Clerk’s office is working on a new digital sign board for the lobby. DPW will be taking down wallpaper and repainting same shortly.
