Municipal offices are closed Monday, September 7, 2015 in recognition of the Labor Day holiday.
Our next Town Council meeting will be on Wednesday, September 16th at 7:00pm.

Great to see Thorlabs gearing up for the next round of development, looking to bring in an application for EJ Brooks this fall!
Information on road improvement and traffic signal costs for the Hicks Avenue Redevelopment has been distributed to appropriate officials at the County of Sussex.
Krogh’s has found a suitable location in Newton for their brewery and we hope to see same come to fruition end of 2015/beginning of 2016.
We are also looking forward to The Nutrition Store opening up in Newton on Route 206. This is part of a chain of locations also found in Sparta and Franklin. Great to see our business community thriving!

Routine business discussed this week at the quarterly Safety Committee meeting and the monthly Parking Authority meeting.
Work is progressing nicely on Spring Street on the crosswalks and area in front of the Newton Fire Museum.
The new traffic light poles for Trinity Street are slated to arrive around September 15th.
