THE WEEK IN REVIEW
Morris Lake was 20 inches below the top of the spillway on 5.23.16.
A friendly reminder that water restrictions are still in effect.
Our first round of nutrition counseling through the HIF’s wellness program went very well.
I spoke with Louise Wilson and we are ready to commence our project with NJ Future this summer!
Several of us attended the police graduation ceremony at the Birchwood Manor in Whippany yesterday. Congratulations to our two newest police officers, Russell Post and Edward R. Sperling. I also want to recognize Edward for his perfect firearms score, exceptional speech as class president, and for his special award from the Police Training Commission representative, John R. Sette. May you both serve with pride, dignity, and distinction, for many safe years in the Town of Newton.
Have a great weekend!
Yours for a Better Newton,
