Tomorrow is the annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10:30am at the upper softball field by the Park ‘N’ Ride. The Easter Bunny will be there because he loves Newton!

Our next Town Council meeting is Monday night beginning at 7:00pm.

This is for those that wish to address the Town Council but do not plan on staying for the whole meeting. There is a note to the public on the agenda to please keep their comments to a maximum of 5 minutes. This allows ample time for all whom wish to speak and keeps the meeting moving forward. THE WEEK IN REVIEW
Morris Lake is 5 ½ inches above spillway as of April 7th.

Routine business discussed at the Parking Authority meeting this week. The PA is purchasing a new Ford Interceptor SUV to replace the Silver Bullet.

Many thanks to the staff members who attended our initial effort at the SC Food Pantry. I heard it was quite the competitive and competent group! We look forward to serving the community in this fashion. Thank you Jenn for coordinating same and thank you Council for allowing us to serve.

Terri and I will be working with Katrina at KKPR on the enhanced social media opportunities now that we have switched vendors. Looking forward to some new ideas and creative endeavors!

Have a great weekend! Let’s Go Rangers! (sorry Devils’ fans, no playoffs for you…)

Yours in Service,
