Our next Town Council meeting is Monday night beginning at 7:00pm. A reminder we have two volunteer interviews at 6:30pm and 6:45pm.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Lorraine’s office has prepared the minutes from the May 22nd Regular & Executive meetings for consideration and approval.

This is for those that wish to address the Town Council but do not plan on staying for the whole meeting. There is a note to the public on the agenda to please keep their comments to a maximum of 5 minutes. This allows ample time for all whom wish to speak and keeps the meeting moving forward. The public can speak on any matter.
COUNCIL & MANAGER REPORTS
Property Tax Rebate Program. Information on this program has been shared with you on the Google Drive.
There are two ordinances for 2nd Reading and Public Hearing:
Ordinance 2017-11 will establish a formal policy providing a retroactive refund of property taxes, for disabled veterans for a period of no greater than twenty-four months.
Ordinance 2017-12 will regulate the placement of trash dumpsters and roll-off containers within the Town only as it pertains to placement within public right-of-ways.
Resolution #92-2017* will transfer school monies for the period July 1 – December 31.
Resolution #93-2017* will approve the purchase of 2017 John Deere 410L Backhoe Loader through the Educational Services Commission of New Jersey Cooperative Contract.
Resolution #94-2017* will authorize and designate the individuals authorized to sign checks for the Clerk’s Account.
Resolution #95-2017* will cancel outstanding checks in the Municipal Court Accounts.
Resolution #96-2017* will authorize the purchase of two crash trailers for the Department of Public Works through State Contract.
Resolution #97-2017* will authorize the purchase of a Ford F-250 for the Department of Public Works through State Contract.
Resolution #98-2017* will approve crediting water and sewer utility accounts.
Resolution #99-2017* will approve the renewal of the Club Liquor License for the VFW.
Resolution #100-2017* will approve the renewal of the Plenary Retail Distribution Liquor Licenses.
Resolution #101-2017* will approve the renewal of the Plenary Retail Consumption Liquor Licenses.
Resolution #102-2017* will approve bills and vouchers for payment.
Application(s)* - There are four items for your consideration:
An application for an on-premise raffle (50-50) from the Sussex County Community College Foundation.
An application for an on-premise raffle (50-50) from the Pride Foundation, Inc.
An application for an on-premise raffle (Tricky Tray) from the Pride Foundation, Inc.
A membership application from Kamran Yazdanfar, Jr., 54 Lawnwood Annex, Newton, into the Newton Fire Department.
