Congratulations to the Chamber of Commerce and merchants (especially Ryan Stapel from ReCollectibles) on a very successful parade and Harry Potter event – lots of chaos and fun – kudos!
I visited with our SHU friends on Tuesday to review the findings of the research project. We will review same on the 11th at our meeting.
I met with Newton High School student council representatives to talk about some current initiatives in Town and how we can better incorporate their ideas into action items for the younger residents. I will keep you posted.
Today Kimberly Williams started as Community Development Director – wishing her the best of success in her new endeavors. Our business visits started out very strong this week on Lower Spring Street.
And congratulations to Justin Leyman who will go from part-time to full-time status in the DPW effective December 4th.
Budget hearings were held today with department heads – much appreciation to everyone.
Have a great weekend!
