Our next Town Council meeting is Monday, June 10th at 7:00pm.

A reminder Summer Hours are in effect - late night Thursdays until 6:30pm and early closing on Fridays at 1:30pm.

Morris Lake is 2 inches above the top of the spillway as of May 27, 2019.

We did another exciting Facebook Live this week – also known as the most boring 3 minutes of your day – but my favorite!

We met with Katrina and her team (not the waves but close enough) to discuss our plans for videotaping much of the fun on June 8th at Newton Day as well as our business video project we are commencing in June.  Excitement she wrote!

I announced our aquatic plans this summer at the Council meeting.  We look forward to partnering with the School District, Thorlabs, and our new friends in Hackettstown to give residents some pool fun!

Cory, Dawn and team are diligently working on funding for the rail trail grants.  Kudos to the DPW crew for their expert work on the boardwalk by Tri State Rentals.

We met with a very interested developer for the Hicks Avenue Redevelopment site.  I will keep you posted on this promising endeavor!

Interviews are still being conducted for the vacant Deputy Municipal Court Administrator position.  I will keep you posted on next steps.

It’s not too late to volunteer for Newton Day!  June 8th!  See Kimberly for details please…

Have a great weekend!  Be safe.

Yours in Service,
