Our next Town Council meeting is Monday, July 22, 2019 at 7:00pm.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Lorraine’s office has prepared the minutes from the July 8, 2019 Regular and Executive meetings for your consideration and approval.
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
This is for those who wish to address the Town Council but do not plan on staying for the whole meeting. There is a note to the public on the agenda to please keep their comments to a maximum of 5 minutes and limited to one turn at the microphone. This allows ample time for all whom wish to speak and keeps the meeting moving forward. The public can speak on any matter.
COUNCIL & MANAGER REPORTS
Each Councilmember can give an update on various items or Board/Commission actions that have taken place recently.
ORDINANCES
None.
OLD BUSINESS
None.
CONSENT AGENDA
Resolution #164-2019* will award the contract for the paving of Plainfield Avenue to Tilcon, Denville Line Striping, and General Foundries, utilizing the Morris County Co-op.
Resolution #165-2019* will authorize credits due water and sewer utility accounts.
Resolution #166-2019* will certify the annual audit. An electronic copy of the audit and the Corrective Action Plan has been shared with you on the Google Drive.
Resolution #167-2019* will authorize the request for a road opening on Trinity Street for Elizabethtown Gas. Trinity Street is still under the five-year moratorium, and Council’s permission is need for any openings.
Resolution #168-2019* will approve bills and vouchers for payment.

THE WEEK IN REVIEW
Morris Lake is 1 inch below the top of the spillway as of July 15, 2019.
I met with Jessica and Cory this week to talk about a possible CDBG grant application. I will keep you posted.
The new project at the Bula’s building location was discussed at this week’s Planning Board meeting. Same will continue at the September 18th meeting.
The Master Plan reexamination report has been approved by the Planning Board. A copy of said report has been shared with you on the Google Drive.
Recreation had a successful trip to the Bronx Zoo this week. The next trip will be to Medieval Times on August 15th!
We are looking into fiber optics for the Police Department and Town Hall. I will keep you posted.
