Our next Town Council meeting is Monday, August 5, 2019 at 7:00pm.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Lorraine’s office has prepared the minutes from the July 22, 2019 Regular meeting for your consideration and approval.
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
This is for those that wish to address the Town Council but do not plan on staying for the whole meeting. There is a note to the public on the agenda to please keep their comments to a maximum of 5 minutes and limited to one turn at the microphone. This allows ample time for all whom wish to speak and keeps the meeting moving forward. The public can speak on any matter.
COUNCIL & MANAGER REPORTS
Each Councilmember can give an update on various items or Board/Commission actions that have taken place recently.
ORDINANCES
There is one ordinance for public hearing:
Ordinance 2019-7 will revise Chapter 57 and Chapter 320 regarding animals as previously discussed.
OLD BUSINESS
CONSENT AGENDA
Resolution #169-2019* will reject the Longo Electrical-Mechanical Inc. submission for the Pump Maintenance bid because they had not responded based upon the specifications.
Resolution #170-2019* will award the Pump Maintenance bid to Rapid Pump and Meter Service Company, Inc.
Resolution #171-2019* will authorize the cancellation of taxes for Block 8.05, Lot 4 due to an executed PILOT with RPM for this parcel.
Resolution #172-2019* will authorize the cancellation of taxes for Block 8.05, Lot 7 due to an executed PILOT with RPM for this parcel.
Resolution #173-2019* will authorize a required disclosure contract with Fire & Safety Services, Ltd.
Resolution #174-2019* will authorize the purchase of mobile cameras and accessories through NJ State Contract with SF Mobile Vision.
Resolution #175-2019* will refund monies to an outside lien holder for Block 15.02, Lot 15.
Resolution #176-2019* will authorize the retirement of Dawn L. Babcock.
Resolution #177-2019* will affirm the issuance of Bond Anticipation Notes.
Resolution #178-2019* will authorize a professional services contract with Topology, to serve as our conflict planner for the redevelopment of the G&H Property.
Resolution #179-2019* will authorize entering into another contract with SESI Consulting Engineers, Inc., for further work (concrete testing) on the pool at Memory Park.
Resolution #180-2019* will authorize entering into another contract with Suburban Consulting Engineers, Inc., for further work on the pool at Memory Park.
Resolution #181-2019* will authorize a required disclosure contract with JK HVAC Service.
Resolution #182-2019* will award the bid for the ADA ramps for the Plainfield Avenue Project to Tony’s Concrete.
Resolution #183-2019* will authorize emergency repairs for the Sussex Street retention basin.
Resolution #184-2019* will approve bills and vouchers for payment.
APPLICATION
1. An application for a Special Permit for a Social Affair from Newton Memorial Post 5360 VFW to be held on September 7, 2019 from 4:00pm-7:00pm.

EXECUTIVE SESSION
Resolution #185-2019 will authorize going into closed session to discuss contract negotiations – Bridge Q-06 project. Information on this topic has been shared with you on the Google Drive. Dave Simmons and Jenn Credidio will be in attendance.
THE WEEK IN REVIEW
