Our next Town Council meeting is Monday, September 23, 2019 at 7:00pm.
Morris Lake is 5 inches below the top of the spillway as of September 9, 2019.
Interviews have been finished for the position of CFO. I will keep you posted on my selection and the status of negotiations for same. I appreciate the time of everyone who was involved in the interview process.
Taste of Newton was an overwhelming success on Monday evening! Thank you to the GNCC, DPW, PD, NFAS, NFD, and all volunteers, participants, and attendees. Next up: Fall Festival on October 13th!
I attended the quarterly Community Advisory Board Meeting at Newton Medical Center this past week. It is great to see the initiatives that will be coming down the line based on the great work being done.
Routine business discussed this month at Statewide Insurance.
The Market Street Mission is interested in working with partners in Sussex County. I met with them today and will keep you posted on future initiatives.
