APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Lorraine’s
office has prepared the minutes from the April
13th Regular meeting for
your consideration and approval.
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
This is for
those that wish to address the Town Council but do not plan on staying for the
whole meeting. There is a note to the
public on the agenda to please keep their comments to a maximum of 3 minutes and limited to one turn. This allows ample time for all whom wish to
speak and keeps the meeting moving forward.
The public can speak on any matter. Council may choose to comment after
the entire public portion has concluded.
COUNCIL & MANAGER REPORTS
Each Councilmember can give an update on various items or
Board/Commission actions that have taken place recently.
OLD BUSINESS
ORDINANCES
There are
two ordinances for 2nd Reading and Public Hearing:
Ordinance 2020-6 will appropriate
$35,500 for the Replacement of the Battery Back-up System at the Morris Lake
Facility.
Ordinance 2020-7 will authorize
$1,300,000 for digester conversion, rehabilitation or replacement, and primary
sludge pump replacement at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
CONSENT AGENDA
Resolution #108-2020* will authorize participation
in the New Jersey Surplus Property Program.
Resolution #109-2020* will authorize issuing
estimated tax bills for the 3rd quarter due to the late adoption of
our Budget due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Resolution #110-2020* will accept the
Firehouse No. 2 project as final and complete.
Resolution
#111-2020* will concur
with the Utility Advisory Board’s recommendation for 23 Union Place (Samaritan
Inn) to upgrade their water service.

#112-2020* will
authorize credits due water and sewer utility accounts.
Resolution
#113-2020* will
concur with the Utility Advisory Board’s recommendation for 120 Woodside Avenue
to connect to the Town’s sewer system.

#114-2020* will authorize
the award of a required disclosure contract with Convergint Technologies Inc.
Resolution
#115-2020* is a
replacement of Resolution 88-2020. It is
a Water and Sewer Capital Budget Amendment done in conjunction with Ordinance
2020-6 above for the alarm system for Morris Lake.

#116-2020* will
approve bills and vouchers for payment.
DISCUSSION
HEARING ON THE 2020 BUDGET AMENDMENT
The Mayor
will open the meeting to the public on the budget amendment.

#117-2020 will adopt the 2020 Municipal and Water & Sewer Budget.
