I want to wish our friends of the Jewish faith a very Happy Hanukkah!

The Morris Lake Reservoir was 3 ½ inches above the top of the spillway on 12.12.11.

I want to thank everyone who assisted with the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Monday evening.

Prime Time Seniors had their annual holiday luncheon at JC’s Grill House this week.  Congratulations to Thea and the group for a well-attended and successful event.

Evaluations of staff are still continuing.  A reminder to department heads that these need to be completed by the end of the calendar year.

Several of us attended Special Officer Phlegar’s graduation ceremony last night in Scotch Plains.  We wish Kyle well in his new endeavors.

All employees - please make sure you have signed and returned your Acknowledgement Form for the new Personnel Manual.

JCP&L has begun their permitting/notification process for the demolition of their building on East Clinton Street.  We expect same to occur in January.

We had a minor watermain break on Paterson Place this week which was quickly handled by our W/S and DPW crews.

The 2011 Charity of Choice is the Sussex Chapter of the American Red Cross.  A reminder that a minimum donation of $10 is required to participate, and all participants will enjoy a pizza party in January.  Please give your donation to Terri today.

Kudos to the PBA for their $500 donation of toys to PSS this week!

Four out of the six RFPs will be awarded at the meeting on the 28th – the other two will be discussed in Executive Session and awarded on the 9th of January.

Town Hall will be closing at Noon on Friday, December 23rd and reopening for business on Tuesday, December 27th at 8:30am.  All departments should have emails & phone messages reflect same.

A reminder that the Annual Town Holiday Party is today at 4pm at Firehouse 1.  Town Hall will be closing at 3:30pm.  See you there!
