Council but do not plan on staying for the whole meeting. There is a note to the public on the agenda
to please keep their comments to a maximum of 3 minutes and limited to one turn at the microphone. This allows ample time for all whom wish to
speak and keeps the meeting moving forward.
The public can speak on any matter. Council may choose to comment after
the entire public portion has concluded.

Ordinance
2021-2 will amend, revise, and
supplement Chapter 258, “Stormwater Control” of the Town of Newton Code as
required.

AGENDA
Resolution #64-2021* will authorize a Required Disclosure
Contract with Convergint Technologies, Inc.
Resolution #65-2021* will authorize a credit due a utility account.
Resolution #66-2021* will appoint Councilman Couce as liaison to the Advisory
Shade Tree Commission.
Resolution #67-2021* will reject the ACB Service, Inc., bid
submitted for Cleaning Services for failure to include ownership disclosure which
is a mandatory requirement.
Resolution #68-2021* will authorize an agreement for the Town
of Newton to provide Tax Collection services to Montague Township.
Resolution #69-2021* will authorize executing an agreement to
join the Hunterdon County Education Services Commission Co-op.
Resolution #70-2021* will authorize an agreement for the Town
of Newton to provide Tax Collection services to Hardyston Township.
Resolution #71-2021* will award Bid 2-2021 for the Repair of heavy vehicle to
Campbell’s Freightliner.
Resolution #72-2021* will approve bills and vouchers for
payment.

8, 2021.
Modified
building hours are still in operation
without any significant delays or issues to report.
Thank you to everyone, especially DPW and all emergency services,
for their hard work during this terrible snow storm this week.
Work continues on the RDA and PILOT for the G&H property
project.
Routine business discussed at the
bi-monthly Parking Authority
meeting.

efforts on coordinating our socially-distanced Big Game Party!
Preparation continues on the 2021 Budget. Our budget hearing will now be on Saturday,
February 20th at 8:30am via ZOOM.
