Council but do not plan on staying for the whole meeting. There is a note to the public on the agenda
to please keep their comments to a maximum of 3 minutes and limited to one turn at the microphone. This allows ample time for all whom wish to
speak and keeps the meeting moving forward.
The public can speak on any matter. Council may choose to comment after
the entire public portion has concluded.

ORDINANCES
There are two ordinances for 2nd Reading
and Public Hearing:
Ordinance
2021-5 will authorize the execution
financial agreement with WSR I Urban Renewal, LLC for the retail component of
the redevelopment of 121 Water Street.
Ordinance
2021-6 will authorize the execution
financial agreement with WSL Urban Renewal, LLC for the residential component
of the redevelopment of 121 Water Street.
CONSENT
AGENDA
Resolution #108-2021* will insert monies from the Community
Advisory Board Grant into the 2021 budget.
Resolution #109-2021* will insert monies from Recycling Grant into
the 2021 budget.
Resolution #110-2021* will renew membership in the Morris
County Cooperative Pricing Council for another five (5) years.
Resolution #111-2021* will appoint Monica Ibanez as an
Alternate to the Historic Preservation Advisory Committee. This is a two-year appointment and the
position is Class C.
Resolution #112-2021* will award the bid for the crosswalk at
Church Street and Route 206 to Tony’s Concrete.
Resolution #113-2021* will approve bills and vouchers for
payment.

Morris Lake is 1 inch above the top of the spillway as of April 19,
2021.
Modified
building hours have been adjusted; we
are now open to the public 9:00am to 4:00pm.
Staff hours remain 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Discussions continue between the Town
and SCCC on the McGuire’s Redevelopment
project.
Routine business discussed at the
monthly Statewide Insurance Fund
meeting.
Routine business discussed at the
bi-monthly NJMEBF meeting.
At the TRC this week both the Merriam Gateway application and G&H
Redevelopment application were deemed complete. Both will be on the agenda for the May 19th
Planning Board meeting at 7:00pm via Zoom.
Planning continues by the Recreation
staff on the pool opening in June.
Kimberly continues her efforts on
planning the summer concerts and summer
movies at Memory Park.
We have had several great applications
for summer interns but are still in
need of more applications for the DPW
summer help.
