APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Clerk’s office has prepared for your consideration and approval the minutes from October 25, 2021 – Regular Meeting.
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
This is for those that wish to address the Town Council but do not plan on staying for the whole meeting. There is a note to the public on the agenda to please keep their comments to a maximum of 3 minutes and limited to one turn at the microphone. This allows ample time for all whom wish to speak and keeps the meeting moving forward. The public can speak on any matter. Council may choose to comment after the entire public portion has concluded. Comments from the public will be both in-person and via Zoom.
COUNCIL & MANAGER REPORTS
Each Councilmember can give an update on various items or Board/Commission actions that have taken place recently.
PROCLAMATIONS – National Breast Cancer Month. Vincenzo LaPilusa - Eagle Scout.
There are two (2) ordinances for Introduction:
Ordinance 2021-20 will establish minimum and maximum salaries and wages for 2022.
Ordinance 2021-21 will provide funding for site improvements to the Municipal Building and Police Department.
Resolution #210-2021* will authorize the award of a State Cooperative Contract to Rachles/Michele’s Oil Company, Inc.
Resolution #211-2021* will approve participation with the State of New Jersey in a Safe and Secure Communities Program administered by the Division of Criminal Justice, Department of Law and Public Safety.
Resolution #212-2021* will cancel a trust escrow balance.
Resolution #213-2021* will cancel an outstanding check in the trust fund.
Resolution #214-2021* will award a bid for proposed Municipal Building and Police Department site improvements to Tony’s Concrete Construction, Co., Inc.
Resolution #215-2021* will authorize refund of redemption monies to outside lien holder for Block 4.02, Lot 13, also known as 13 Academy Street, Newton, NJ.
Resolution #216-2021* will authorize refund of redemption monies to outside lien holder for Block 21.04, Lot 14, also known as 51 Paterson Avenue, Newton, NJ.
Resolution #217-2021* will authorize the award of a Required Disclosure Contract for Fire & Safety Services Ltd.
Resolution #218-2021* will approve 2021 appropriation transfers.
Resolution #219-2021* will approve bills and vouchers for payment.
Resolution #220-2021 Town Manager’s annual review.
