There is one volunteer interview scheduled beginning at 6:45pm on Monday and our next Town Council meeting will follow beginning at 7:00pm.

Lorraine's office has prepared the minutes from the October 24th Special (2) and Regular meetings for consideration and approval.

This is for those that wish to address the Town Council but do not plan on staying for the whole meeting. There is a note to the public on the agenda to please keep their comments to a maximum of 5 minutes. This allows ample time for all whom wish to speak and keeps the meeting moving forward. The public can speak on any matter and the Clerk will keep time.

3. A Proclamation for the 25th Anniversary of the Festival of Lights will be noted for the record. The Mayor will be presenting the proclamation on Saturday at the event.

Resolution #176-2016* will concur with the Town Manager’s appointment of a new crossing guard.
Resolution #177-2016* will authorize the execution of an agreement between the Town and the Parking Authority.
Resolution #178-2016* will authorize the purchase of road salt and grit.
Resolution #179-2016* will authorize the execution of an agreement with NJDOT regarding the flashing warning beacon installation on Route 206.
Resolution #180-2016* will authorize executing an agreement with Byram Township to provide Tax Collection services.
Resolution #181-2016* will authorize entering into an agreement with The Canning Group, LLC to provide Newton with the services of a Qualified Purchasing Agent (QPA).
Resolution #182-2016* will approve 2016 appropriation transfers.
Resolution #183-2016* will approve vacation leave payouts for Kyle Bucenec and Deb Millikin.
Resolution #184-2016* will approve the initial application for a Taxicab Driver’s License for Linda Aigotti.
Resolution #185-2016* will authorize auctioning a 2009 Ford Crown Vic on Govdeals.com.
Resolution #186-2016* will authorize the execution of a bargaining agreement with UPSEU.
Resolution #187-2016* will appoint the Fund Commissioners for Statewide for 2017.
Resolution #188-2016* will appoint Keith Mitchell as our Risk Management Consultant for 2017.
Resolution #189-2016* supports Andover Township in urging Hudson Farm Properties to support the Lackawanna Cut Off Restoration Project.
Resolution #190-2016* will cancel grant receivables for the Municipal Alliance Grant.
Resolution #191-2016* will appoint Thomas Butterfield and Alex Majewski as Alternate Members of the Planning Board.
Resolution #192-2016* will approve the renewal application for a Taxicab Owner’s License for Luis I. Arrazola.
Resolution #193-2016* will approve the renewal application for a Taxicab Driver’s License for Carmen Medrano.
Resolution #194-2016* will approve the renewal application for a Taxicab Driver’s License for Luis I. Arrazola.
Resolution #195-2016* will approve Change Order No. 1 for the Fox Hollow Watermain Project to extend the completion date to November 30, 2016.
