Our next regular Town Council meeting is Wednesday, September 11th at 7:00pm. The Special Meeting on the CDBG grant application will be at 6:00pm on Monday, August 26th.
THE WEEK IN REVIEW
Morris Lake is even with the top of the spillway as of August 5, 2019.
The job ad for CFO has been posted on the Town website, NJSLOM website, and distributed elsewhere. Several applicants have already showed interest.
The Town made application this week to the NJSLOM on innovation in governance. I detailed our marketing event coordination success for the application and will keep you posted.
The Banking RFP has been made available to the public. Applications are due August 29th by 11:00am.
I met with Thorlabs this week to talk about the current status of their terrific projects in Town as well as their future growth initiatives. We are grateful for Alex’s steadfast commitment to the Town and region.
I met with Jim Prusinowski this week to address updates on both the CWA and UPSEU contract proposals. I will keep you posted as conditions warrant.
Routine business discussed this month at the Statewide Insurance Fund meeting in Parsippany.
Progress continues to be made on the various redevelopment projects in Town which includes McGuire’s, Paterson Avenue, Hicks Avenue, and G&H. Lots going on!
