THE WEEK IN REVIEW

As of September 22, 2022, Morris Lake is 25 inches below the top of the spillway.

The Taste of Newton event was super successful this week. Hopefully, you had a ticket and enjoyed some great food, drink, music, and camaraderie.

Make sure you mark your calendar (on your phone or on the refrigerator) for the annual Fall Festival/Car Showwhich will be on Sunday, October 9th from 11am-4pm. As this is the Town’s biggest event, we hope you will make plans to join us for some fall fun!

Plans are currently in motion for the annual Halloween Parade and the Flags of Honor. Please check out our social media accounts to learn more about both events.

The Town was awarded grant funds for an EV Charging station to be installed in Central Plaza Lot #4, 36 Trinity Street, in 2023. Get your Tesla’s and Mustang Mach-E’s ready! Vroom!

Expect the exciting, full-color fall newsletter edition to arrive in mailboxes in the early part of October. It will include the always popular recycling newsletter information as well.

I don’t know about you, but I can smell the coffee brewing! The Newton Starbucks should be opening by the end of the month, followed shortly thereafter by Panera Bread and Chipotle. Get your apps and orders ready!

Go Giants!

Yours In Service,
