Newton will host a free rabies on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Newton Public Works Garage, 117 Moran Street from 10AM to Noon. You may also get your pet microchipped for a donation of $20. Supplies are limited so it will be on a first come/first served basis.

Newton requires all dogs & cats residing in Town to be licensed. The license renewal process will take place January 1-31, 2023. The State of New Jersey mandates for renewal current rabies vaccinations cannot expire before November 1 of the current license year (2023).
