Teresa "Terri" Oswin began her long career with the Town on Newton in October 2002 as Secretary to the Construction Official.  She received her certification as "Technical Assistant to the Construction Official" shortly after.  

In May 2004, Terri took the position of Administrative Assistant to then Town Manager, Colin Donnelly.  Since 2004, she has served three Town Managers, Colin Donnelly, Eileen Kithcart and Thomas S. Russo, Jr.    In this position she learned and grew to be a vital component to the workings of the Town.  

In October 2013, Terri received her Registered Municipal Clerk certification, and was given the title of Deputy Municipal Clerk while still serving as the Town Manager's Assistant.

In July 2020, Terri was promoted to the title of Deputy Town Manager/Deputy Municipal Clerk.    

In June 2021, Terri became a Certified Municipal Registrar. 

On August 1, 2021 became the Municipal Clerk for the Town.  Her new title is Municipal Clerk/Deputy Town Manager/Deputy Registrar of Vital Statistics.
