OVERNIGHT PARKING PASS CONDITIONS

The no-fee overnight public parking is located on South Park Drive, Newton, New Jersey.

Motorists and commuters using the Park & Ride Lot need not be residents of the Town of Newton.

Overnight Parking Passes for the Park-n-Ride will be issued annually and may be revoked by the Town upon 30 days notice to applicants for such Passes.

Applicants granted Overnight Parking Passes must comply with requests by the Town of Newton to move their vehicles. Access to parking areas may be required from time to time for snow removal, asphalt or concrete repair, or any other reason deemed necessary by the Town of Newton.

Overnight Parking Passes MUST be visible and hung on the rearview mirror of vehicles parking in the designated overnight parking areas.

Overnight Parking Passes DO NOT entitle vehicle owners to park in the public parking lots during day time hours. Vehicles must have a valid, current Parking Pass displayed on the dashboard or an autoslot ticket when parking in public lots during the day, between 8:00am and 6:00pm. Illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.
