A representative of the Governing Body is appointed annually to the Commission, and the Deputy Town Manager serves as secretary.
In 2002, the Town Council created the Economic Development Advisory Commission to be a link between the Governing Body and the business and residential community. Its responsibilities are to research, study, evaluate and make recommendations to the Mayor and Council as to the economic vitality and development in the Town on an ongoing basis.
